Matt is the Head of Investigation Technology at Black Rainbow Group, where he leads the delivery of an innovative and market-leading digital investigation platform.

With a background as a senior police leader and career detective, Matt is an accredited PIP4 Senior Investigating Officer (SIO). In his previous roles, he has led numerous significant and challenging homicide and suspicious death investigations, including the Criminal Investigation into the Grenfell Tower fire in 2017.

In addition to his investigative expertise, Matt holds a Level 4 certificate in education and training. He is also an associate trainer with the College of Policing, where he delivers specialist detective training at the PIP 3 and 4 levels.

Matt has extensive experience in introducing new concepts within a policing environment. He acted as a consultant/critical friend in the implementation and delivery of a bespoke offender management programme with the Police Service of Northern Ireland. Previously, he led the implementation of a similar programme with Hertfordshire Constabulary.
